Bryan is a 42 year old published Composer/ Playwright living in NYC with his 2 frogs and his pup Max. Whether onstage, behind the scenes, directing, musical directing or designing, he is simply always creating new worlds via his love of the stage. Recent productions of his musical theatre works include a 2006 Award-winning production of TROUBLE IN SHAMELAND, as a part of the 10th Anniversary New York International Fringe Festival (Finalist: 2007 Richard Rodgers Award Competion); a staged reading of that same piece at the York Theatre; a staged reading of The ToyMaker at the Bouwerie Lane Theatre, and an upcoming reading of The ToyMaker again with The York Theatre Company. An avid flautist for most of his life, Bryan's love of music and writing led him to a life as a member of Actor's Equity Association, performing roles such as Dr. Craven in The Secret Garden, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Steven Kodaly in She Loves Me, Jigger Craiggin in Carousel, Petruchio in The Taming of The Shrew, Bobby in Company and Leading Man Adam in the National Tour of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Several new musicals are in the works. Lullaby Street,  Ghost Train and Dischord.

Bryan’s musical, The ToyMaker was a finalist for the 2009 RICHARD RODGERS AWARD and will make its WORLD PREMIERE this fall as an official selection of the 2009 New York Musical theatre festival!

Kenneth has music directed productions in NYC and in theatres throughout the country. He most recently music directed a reading of Bryan Putnam’s new musical , The ToyMaker, at the York Theatre in NYC starring Christiane Noll.  Before moving to NYC, Kenneth had a successful conducting career in Texas. He has conducted church choirs, community choruses, and school choirs as well. His choirs from Coppell High School in Coppell, TX performed at Carnegie Hall on The Final Concert of the Millenium - December 1999.
